Presenting the art of the fly dresser

Most of these flies are patterns made famous by George Kelson in his book “The Salmon Fly” of 1895 with additions from later fly tyers including Dr Pryce-Tannatt, Megan Boyd and Paul Ptalis.  Whilst we follow the original patterns as closely as possible, many include materials from exotic species which are not readily available today so these are substituted for more sustainable alternatives

All of these flies are examples which have been included in our frames on flies from size 2/0 to 6/0​
